Kathy C. Polinski, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at her home with her family by her side at the age of 73. She was born on December 3, 1949 in Mishawaka to the late Jayu and Marilyn (Wosny) Weiler. On December 16, 1966 in Lakeville, IN she was united in marriage to John Polinski. Kathy and John would go on to celebrate 56 years of marriage together. From that union they were blessed with four children, John (Rhonda) Polinski of Plymouth, Kenny (Angie) Polinski of Plymouth, Dawn (Buck) Hale of LaPaz, and Julia Polinski of Walkerton. Kathy is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 boys and 2 girls, and 4 great grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. Also surviving are her sisters Debbie Leiter and Julie Birkey of Bremen, and brothers, Greg (Chris) Weiler of Lakeville and Jay Weiler of South Bend. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Ross. Kathy was a lifelong resident of the area who always put others first. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and those who she loved and holding a special place in her heart are her huskies. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moment figurines and had a large collection on display in her home. In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. Palmer Funeral Home - Lakeville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions in Kathy’s honor may be made to Marshall County Humane Society, 11165 13th Rd, Plymouth, IN 46563.
