Louise Susan (Pokrefky) Mankus, 66 years old, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Granger, Indiana. Louise was born on August 3, 1954 in San Francisco, California to Leota May Griggs and Ivan Charles Pokrefky, both of whom preceded her in death. Louise was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada-a graduate of Vo-Tech High School. She later moved to Mishawaka, Indiana, and then to Columbus, Mississippi. Louise worked all her life in the electronics/manufacturing field. She loved growing flowers in her garden, her dachshund babies and watching sunrises. Louise leaves behind daughters, Heather Younkin and husband Rob, and Sarah Barbour and husband Brett; grandsons, Matthew and Gabriel Barbour; sisters, Lee Ann Sanders, and Lisa Wiemers and husband Orville; nephew, Eric Wiemers; and niece, Catherine (Wiemers) Sori. We will miss her forever. No services are planned at this time. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
