NORTH LIBERTY - Norma F. Krol, 90, of North Liberty, Indiana, passed away on June 20, 2016, in her home. Norma was born on April 15, 1926, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Chalmer and Lucy (Galazkiewicz) Walker. On April 19, 1947, she married Joseph L. Krol, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dennis R. Krol; one sister, Rosemary Wikman, and one brother, John Walker. Survivors include three daughters, Monica I. Krol of Walkerton, Noreen A. Krol of South Bend and Renita A. Jaworski of North Liberty; two sons, Patrick J. Krol of North Liberty and Joseph M. Krol of Mill Creek; seven grandchildren, Melissa Keller, Jennifer Krol, Breanna Krol, Phillip Krol, Curtis Krol, Kyle Krol, and Noel Jaworski; two great-grandchildren, Daultin Keller and Devin Byrd; and two sisters, Marguerite Orgren and Genevieve Walker, both of South Bend. Visitation will take place from 4:00 until 6 p.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Visitation will also take place from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, in the church. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Visiting Angels along with Norma's caretaker Jennifer Balok. Norma was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church. She enjoyed playing the organ and spending time with her family.
