Michael K. Nowicki, of the Klinton Hotel, 815 1/2 Prairie Ave., died Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness. He was born in South Bend Sept. 18, 1895. Mr. Nowicki was employed by the former Singer Manufacturing Co. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Blanche Odor, Mrs. Jane Klimek, Mrs. Marie VanderHeyden, Mrs. Sophie Cherpes and Mrs. Josephine Varga, and four brothers, John, Leo, Edmund and Charles, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Casimirs Catholic Church with Rev. Bernard N. Niemier, C.S.C., acting pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery. Mr. Nowicki was a veteran of World War I.
