. Antonia Marie "Tony" GLON was born on August 3, 1910 in New Carlisle, IN. On her marriage application she indicated her name as Antionette, a name she often used, but her birth certificate is for Antonia. She was a Machined Parts Inspector on January 14, 1956 in Ordnance District, at Oliver Corp, Shell Plant. She inspected handgranads. She died on February 6, 1999 in South Bend, IN. Tony loved to travel and, of course, Bill did not like to travel. Her love of travel began early. In 1933 she was working a Bendix and was selected to participate in the 1934 Worlds Fair in Chicago. She worked in the Ford Pavilion.
In 1934 she and a friend traveled with an elderly couple, by car, to California?
She also visited the west coast when her brothers were in the Army in Oregon and California.
She would drive almost weekly to Milwaukee with her sister-in-law to see her brother, Lot, when he was in the Veterans Hospital after WW2.

Antonia Marie "Tony" GLON was married to William Julius "Bill" HATALA on October 26, 1935 in St. Stanislaus de Kosta, Terre Coupe, IN. The marriage was performed by Fr. John Wroblewski (born 5/6/1883, died 9/30/1956).
