Anna M. Comer, 94, of Milburn Boulevard, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. in her residence. Mrs. Comer was born on July 8, 1905 in Bremen, Ind. as the daughter of the late Charles and Amanda (Wharham) Sherland. On Feb. 2, 1924, in St. Joseph, Mich., as the former Anna M. Sherland, she married Harley E. Comer. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1964. Mrs. Comer is survived by two daughters, Ruth (Mike) Radics of Mishawaka and Jean Haynes of Dowagiac, Mich.; two sons, Arthur (Mary) Comer of Mishawaka, and Robert (Betty) Comer of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Hazel Seymour of South Bend. Mrs. Comer was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360 Ladies Auxiliary, Mishawaka. Friends may call on Sunday, Nov. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola, Ind.
