There were two John and Catherine Radecki families living in South Bend. (Would it be too much to ask for their wives names to have been different!) Anyway, John b. 1879 immigrates in 1906 where he states he is going to his brother Stanley Radecki in South Bend on Walnut Street. Katherine who immigrates in 1907 also states that she going to join her husband at 605 Walnut Street in South Bend. The census records show that Stanley lives on Walnut Street. John b. 1879 and Katherine had many children: Frank, Sylvester, Helen, Theresa, Genevieve, Virgil, Lucille, Florence, Stephen, Edmund, Roman, Clara, Eugene. I'm really not sure how many as I have not compared census/birth records carefully yet. I was interested to see a Roman Radecki on the list as I know that there is someone by that name who did live in South Bend. I'll have to work on figuring that out after I sort out the basics.
