Virginia B. (Radecki) Fozo , 90, formerly of W. Ford Street, South Bend, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, in Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle. She was born May 7, 1915, in South Bend to John and Catherine (Przybyla) Radecki who preceded her in death. On Oct. 5, 1940, Virginia married Geza G. Fozo who passed away on May 26, 1996. Virginia is survived by two sons, Rick Fozo of New Carlisle and James Fozo of South Bend; four grandchildren, Lance Fozo , Erin Fozo , Becky Ludwick and Robert Fozo ; five great-grandchildren and three brothers, Sylvester Radecki, Roman Radecki and Edward Radecki, all of South Bend. Six sisters and one brother also preceded her in death. Virginia worked at the University of Notre Dame until her retirement and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 2 to 6 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. Services will be on Monday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Gardens at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 300 N. Michigan St., Suite 450, South Bend, IN 46601, or Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle.
