SOUTH BEND - Margaret L. Ruszkowski, 94, of South Bend, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011, in her residence. Margaret was born February 17, 1917, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Mae (Ross) Plumbeck. On May 27, 1950, in South Bend, Margaret married Chester Ruszkowski, who passed away in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jay Nash; grandson, Michael Krueger; son-in-law, David Krueger; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Carl Jacobs; and brother, Ross Plumbeck. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Mae (Karl) Schwab of Warren MI, and Diana Krueger of South Bend; sons, Dennis Nash of Pontiac, MI, and David Ruszkowski of South Bend; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Billie Nash of Mishawaka; and sister-in-law, Ruth Plumbeck, of Lydick. Margaret had worked at Robertson's department store and Koszegi Industries. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. Friday, September 16, 2011, in Lydick United Methodist Church, 26510 W. Edison Road, South Bend, with Pastor James Toole and Rev. Richard Siri officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 4 till 7:00 pm Thursday at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., and one hour prior to services on Friday at church.
