Steve Alan Hutsebout, 61 of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Mishawaka died Friday May 1, 2015 in Mishawaka.Steve was born on May 17, 1953 in Mishawaka as the only son of Arthur and Mary (Maes) Hutsebout. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur on October 30, 2005. On June 18, 1977 in St. Bavo Catholic Church Mishawaka he married the former Beverly Green. She survives along with their son Brian Hutsebout of Portland, OR, his mother Mary Hutsebout of Mishawaka, Mother-in-law Ardie Green of Valparaiso, IN, Sister-in-laws Barb (Tom) Boyer of Smyrna, GA, Sue Green and Karen Green both of Valparaiso, IN, and a brother-in-law Dave (Nahoko) Green of Evanston, IL.Steve was a Marian High School Graduate and went on to Ball State University receiving his Master’s Degree in Education. Steve was employed by The Clayton County School System in Georgia, first as a Teacher and then assistant principal, before becoming School Counselor, he retired after 33 years in the education field. Steve’s love of his students was one of his many outstanding qualities. His love of his wife Beverly and son Brian were paramount in his life. Steve enjoyed traveling and outdoor actives. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may call on Tuesday May 5th from 3:00 - 7:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday May 6, at 10:00 am in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church 511 W. 7th Street Mishawaka burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery MishawakaMemorial contributions may be made in Steve’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
