Ruth M. Natynka, 97, went home to the Lord Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born January 7, 1925, in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late Rube and Hazel (Burned) Mattox. On January 19, 1952, in Erlanger, Kentucky, Ruth was united in marriage to Walter Natynka. They were married for 55 years. Ruth is survived by her son, Billy (Kathy) Natynka of Mishawaka, Indiana and her granddaughter April Natynka of South Bend, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rosie Morris; and brothers, John Caswell and Jim Caswell as well as her husband, Walter Natynka. Ruth was a devout member of First Baptist Church in Mishawaka where she loved volunteering her time in the kitchen over the years. She enjoyed tomato gardening, cooking for family and friends, Bible study and tending to her rose bushes. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home-Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545 with visitation one hour prior. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
