MISHAWAKA - Walter "Bill" Natynka, 83, of Middleboro Ave., died of heart failure at 1:02 p.m. Saturday, May 20, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Bill was born in the Ukraine, on May 3, 1924. He moved to America in 1949 and married the fo rmer Ruth M. Mattox on January 19, 1952. He is survived by Ruth, his wife of fifty-five years; a son, Billy J. and his wife Kathleen J. Natynka of Mishawaka; and a granddaughter, April Marie of Mishawaka. He is also survived by a sister, Marie; and a brother, Mike in the Ukraine. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Vasil and Anastasia, a brother John, and two grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mishawaka. He was also a member of Fitness USA where he enjoyed the whirlpool. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms, fishing, walking and gardening. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 22 in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
