MISHAWAKA - Mildred M. Dutoi, 84, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, in her residence on Mason Street. Mrs. Dutoi was born on Aug. 6, 1913, in Brown County, Wis., as the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Peppard) O'Neil. She was a Michiana area resident for most of her life.
On Oct. 17, 1936, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as Mildred M. O'Neil, she married August Dutoi. She leaves to cherish their memories her husband, August of 61 years. Along with her brother, Wilbert O'Neil of Mishawaka, she also leaves several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
Mrs. Dutoi was employed as a sales clerk by J. C. Penney's for 28 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and the Rosary Society of the church. Mrs. Dutoi's funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 6, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Yast will officiate. Following her funeral Mass, Mrs. Dutoi will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 5th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Dutoi may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
