Adeline J. Walczewski, 73, of Birchwood Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, in the Saint Joseph Care Center. She was born on Aug. 24, 1929, in South Bend, to John J. and Ann (Kalka) Ciesialka, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Walczewski on Nov. 3, 1981; a sister, Clara; and by a brother, John Ciesialka Jr. On April 15, 1950, in South Bend, she married Alexander Walczewski. Adeline is survived by her husband, Alexander; a daughter, Adriane Zmudzinski of South Bend; a son, Alexander (Sue) Walczewski of Granger, Ind.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Phyllis Wentland of South Bend. She belonged to St. Hedwig Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary #357, and IUE Local #913. Adeline retired from RACO as a stockroom attendant. Visitation will be on Monday, July 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
