[N348] Miss Stella Nowicka: (South Bend Tribune 8/7/1939)

Miss Stella Nowicka, aged 49, of 1615 West Sample street, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph county infirmary after an illness of three weeks. Born in Poland, Miss Nowicka came to South Bend from that country 45 years ago. Surviving are four brothers, Jacob, Joseph, Michael and Wladyslaw Nowicki, all of South Bend. Friends will be received in the home of Wladyslaw Nowicki, 1615 West Sample street with whom she had made her home. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Casimirs Roman Catholic church with Rev. Stanislaus J. Gorka, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery.
