MISHAWAKA - Barbara R. Lubelski, 76, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Barb was born August 11, 1940 in Mishawaka, a daughter of the late Michael and Marie (VanBellegham) Czajkowski. She married Richard “Rick” Lubelski on April 11, 1958. They lived for a short time in Michigan and California before returning to Mishawaka. Barb was a homemaker and also cleaned homes. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Barb enjoyed bowling on Tuesday and Thursday leagues at Parkway Lanes. Other activities she enjoyed included crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, cooking, baking, flower gardening and camping with her daughter. Barb and Rick wintered in Florida for several years. Barb's surviving family includes her husband of nearly 59 years, Rick; three children, Debbi Lubelski, Rich Lubelski and Tara (Matt) Widman; six grandchildren, Matt, Hailee, Olivia, Ashley, Tyler and Christopher; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael (Connie) Czajkowski and Shorty (Judy) Czajkowski; and a sister, Susie Donathen. Barb was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise McKenzie; and an infant daughter, Deanna Lubelski. Following Barb's wishes, cremation will take place.
