The 1880-1910 federal census records of South Bend, Indiana, indicate that Frank & Julia Szybowicz, had had seven children, and all were living. They and four of their children, Katherine/Kataryna, Bell/Pelagia, Laura/Lenora/Elenore, and Herman, were born in Prussia and had immigrated in the early 1870s, and three of their children, Anna, Mary, and Leonard, were born in Indiana in the 1870s. Leonard Szybowicz's 1906 St. Joseph Co., Indiana, marriage application record, says that his mother's maiden name was Julia Drajus.
