Doris E. Bueche passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 6, 2022. She was 85. Doris was born on March 6, 1937 in North Manchester, Indiana to the late Cora Pauline (Wentland) Cave. Doris is survived by her children, Ron (Debra, Deceased) Bueche, Sherry Bueche, and Russ Bueche; grandchildren: Jessica (Todd) Russell, Sean Bueche, Alicia (Chris) Purcell, and Brett Bueche; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Bill Cave, Terry (Leona) Cave, Freida, Barb and Colleen Cave; along with many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard; and siblings: Kathleen Cave, Merrilee Mauk, Jerry, Roger and Rex Cave. Doris could make a great apple pie and was an all-around wonderful cook and baker. She had a great sense of humor and was full of sarcasm for anyone that got in her way. Doris was active in 4-H with her husband, Richard and would also compete at the State Fair level with their garden wares. They spent time together watching Notre Dames Women’s basketball. Doris was the third oldest of 11 children and help raise her siblings. She loved her family and would do anything for them. There is now a void in many lives that will never be filled. She will be missed. Visitation for Doris will take place on Friday, December 9th at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, Granger from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, December 10th at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior, also at the McGann Hay Granger Chapel.
