Mrs. Josephine Horka, 80, who resided with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Clementine Rybicki, at 421 S. Walnut St., died at 11:30 p.m. Monday in her home after a long illness. She was born March 19, 1888, in Poland and moved from there to South Bend 60 years ago. Her husband, Ignatius Horka, died in 1956. Survivors include two stepsons, Edward Buszkiewicz and Roman Horka, both of South Bend; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Irene Kuir and Mrs. Lillian Stefanski, both of South Bend; one grandchild; six great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Lubelski; of South Bend, and another sister in Poland. ... She was a member of St. Joseph Society Group 65, Polish Women's Alliance of America, and Confraternity of the Holy Rosary of St. Casimir's Catholic Church.
