Huntington - Marilyn "Sue" Widelski, 75, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice in Fort Wayne. Sue was born on November 24, 1945, in Mishawaka, IN, to Lawrence F. and Mariellen (Eberly) Nix. Sue married Richard Widelski on May 4, 1968. Sue graduated in 1964 from South Bend Washington High School. Sue was employed at Noll Printing and in the Auditor's office at the Huntington County Courthouse. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. Along with her husband, Dick, she is survived by three daughters, Christi (Michael) McElhaney, Huntington, IN, Jacki (Jeff) Rude, Fort Wayne, IN, Vicki (Jon) Wirth, Fishers, IN; one son, Stephen (Gelyn) Widelski, Leesburg, VA; one sister, Ann Moretz; and one brother, Joel Nix; both of San Antonio, TX. Sue is also survived by 12 grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Recitation of the Rosary at 3:30 p.m.Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. A private burial will be at a later date.
