MILL CREEK - Catherine Margaret Olson, 78, of Mill Creek, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in her home. She was born February 22, 1936, in LaPorte, IN, to Clemens & Genevieve (Miller) Jozwiak. Catherine graduated from Rolling Prairie High School, Class of 1954; was employed with American Home Foods for 13 years, a beautician for 4 years, and a homemaker. Catherine married Melvin Olson on October 1, 1960, at St. John Kanty Catholic Church in Rolling Prairie. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1998; and a son, Robert Olson in November of 1994. Surviving are daughters, Eva Marie Olson of Mill Creek, IN, Marge Peters of N. Liberty, IN; a sister, Rose Timm of Manor, TX; a brother, Jerry (Rose) Jozwiak of Rolling Prairie, IN; grandchildren, Guy & Robby Olson, Josh Mac Isaac, Caitlin Gonzalez; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Shirley Doms & Shirley Olson; & many nieces and nephews. Visitation, 5-8 p.m. (EST) today, May 9, 2014, Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle, IN, where a Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Funeral, 11 a.m. (EST) Saturday, May 10, 2014, Kaniewski Funeral Home, New Carlisle, IN, with Rev. Anthony L.
