South Bend - Virginia Galeziewski, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home.Virginia was born April 14, 1924 in South Bend to the late Stanley & Blanche (Blaszczyk) Babinski. On February 5, 1949, Virginia married Stanley Galeziewski, he preceded her in death on November 28, 2005. Survivors of Virginia include her daughter, Coreene (Don) McGowan of Avon, IN; and son, Chris Galeziewski of Houston, TX; and granddaughter, Stephanie McGowan of Brownsburg, IN. Virginia was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church. There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent DePaul Society or Hope Rescue Mission.Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
