SOUTH BEND - Paul F. Kiszka, 66, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in his home. He was born on February 16, 1946 to the late Clement A. and Dorothy G. (Otolski) Kiszka in South Bend, Indiana and was a lifelong resident. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Kiszka. Paul graduated from Holy Cross Catholic Grade School, St. Joseph High School, and Indiana University. Mr. Kiszka retired in March 2011 from Portage Manor, where he worked as a Housekeeping Manager. Prior to that, he worked as a Purchasing Manager for Healthwin Specialized Care for 25 years. He was widely known as a fair, hardworking boss, but a joker who "couldn't be more wonderful." On April 19, 1969, he married Terry O'Bryan in Hammond, IN at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Kiszka of South Bend, Indiana; his daughter, Jennifer L. (Will) Hauch of Brownstown, Indiana; his son, Nicholas P. (Amy) Kiszka of Friendswood, Texas; two grandchildren, Owen N. and Erin D. Kiszka; a sister-in-law, Doris Kiszka of Granger, Indiana, and many wonderful cousins. Paul was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Parish. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, during which he served at Dover AFB, Del. for four years. Paul loved to attend Car Shows, collect classic vehicles and watch sports. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Rev. John M. Santone, C.S.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
