South Bend - James Laurence Wenrick, 74, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Bell Tower. Jim was born November 30, 1947 in South Bend, to the late Laurence and Elizabeth (Pecsi) Wenrick. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Edward (Marcia) Wenrick and John Wenrick; sisters, Jean (Neil) Johnston and Mable Cave. Left to cherish the memory of Jim is his daughter, Jennifer (Matthew Dixon) Wenrick; grandson, Garrett Dixon; brother-in-law, William Cave; sister-in-law, Myra; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim graduated from Washington High School, class of 1965. He retired from AccuCast Technology L.L.C. (Sibley Foundry) after 27 years of employment as a Lab Technician Supervisor. He enjoyed traveling to visit family, camping, fishing, and watching NASCAR races. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family.
