Laurence Scott “Scotty” WENRICK, 84, of 410 Jefferson St., formerly of South Bend, died at 8:25 a.m. today in the Canterbury Manor Nursing Home where he had been a resident for 2 1/2 weeks. He had been in failing yealth for several years. He was born March 9, 1903 in South Bend to Edward and Mary Jane ANDREWS WENRICK. He moved from South Bend to the Rochester home of his son, Edward S. WENRICK, in February 1986. On March 29, 1932 in LaPorte he married Elizabeth PECSI, who died June 25, 1986. He was retired and was a former employee of the former Studebaker Corp. and the Little Dutch Cleaners, South Bend. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Neil (Elizabeth Jean) JOHNSTON, Rochester, and Mrs. William (Mabel L.) CAVE, South Bend; two sons, Edward S. [WENRICK], Rochester, and James L. [WENRICK], South Bend; eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a son, John J. [WENRICK]; a great-grandson; a half-sister, and two half-brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor James W. KREFT officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and on Monday for an hour before services.
