According to the 1930 census, Henry and his wife, Martha, were born in Beigium. He was was a "cutter of footwear" - probably at the Ball Band Factory in Mishawaka. In 1930, the family lived at 414 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with children Henry, jr., Laurence, Esther, Harold and Robert. He is a Veteran of WWI. He was a Private in the 616 Aero Repl. Sq., later in the 809th.
