SOUTH BEND - Robert R. Skudlarek, 77, of South Bend, IN, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, at home. For 50 years, beloved husband of and survived by Patricia Skudlarek. Also survived by daughters, Mary J. (John) Madderom of Wauwatosa, WI, Robyn M. (Clark) Skudlarek-Jones of Kapa'au, HI; sons, Martin J. (Connie) Skudlarek of Clear Lake, TX, and David M. (Alice) Skudlarek of Oak Park, IL; four grandchildren, Sarah, Grant, Emily and William; a sister, Delores Kirchofer of Omaha, NE; a brother, Joseph J. (Philomena) Skudlarek of Omaha, NE. Preceding Robert in death were his sister, Mary Jean Feichtinger, and his brother, Bernard Skudlarek. All visitation and services at St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend IN. Visitation at church, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., including Rosary @ 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007. Visitation at church, 10:00 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2007. No cemetery service as private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Joseph Catholic School Scholarship Fund or to the Christ Child Society. Kaniewski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
