Stanley Nowaczewski, 85, of South Bend, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at his residence. Stan was born March 3, 1936 in South Bend, to George and Lottie (Papczynski) Nowaczewski. After high school, Stan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1956. He was currently working for Magnum Security as a security guard. Stan was a member of the VFW Post 9820. Surviving are his four children, Kim Nowaczewski of Oklahoma, Paula Nowaczewski, Shelly Hirt of Lebanon, and Mike Nowaczewski of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marguerite Saul, Mary McNeil, and three brothers, George, Michael and Victor Nowaczewski. Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana, is assisting the family with arrangements.
