Donald J. Erlacher, 72, of Elkhart, IN passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2008 at Woodland Manor, Elkhart. He retired as a self-employed painter. Mr. Erlacher was born on January 6, 1936 in Deadwood, South Dakota to the late Anton and Elizabeth (Stroymeyer) Erlacher and has lived in Elkhart since 1961 coming from South Dakota. Mr. Erlacher is survived by one son, Christopher S. Erlacher of South Bend; two daughters, Cassandra J. Nowak of South Bend and Karen S. Price of Edwardsburg, MI; three grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Walt) Thomsen and Bonnie Wiebke both of Minnesota; and two brothers, Bill (Karen) Erlacher and James (Linda) Erlacher both of Elkhart.
