etty Halassy, 96, of Hamilton Grove in New Carlisle, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the Nursing Home. Betty was born August 17, 1917 in South Bend, Indiana to Louis and Rose (Gombos) Halassy. She had been employed with the former Bendix Corporation for 36 years. Betty is survived by many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Rose Horvath, Margaret Prihoda, Ida Chiszar; and brothers, Louis & Julius Halassy. Funeral services for Betty will be at 11 a.m. (EST) Wednesday, May 28, 2014, Hamilton Grove Nursing Home Chapel, where family & friends may visit one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
