Mishawaka-Frances Joan Toth, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 4 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Frances was born on October 26, 1938 in Mishawaka as the daughter of Francis John and Leah Marie (Jansen) Ostrowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Ostrowski and a brother, Tomas Ostrowski. Surviving are her daughters, Kelly (Kevin) Czarnecki of Mishawaka, Ann (Jamie) Bemiller of Mishawaka and Janice (Steve) Berreth of Granger; five grandchildren, Rodney Bemiller, Brandon Czarnecki, Chad Bemiller, Bailey Czarnecki and Blair Czarnecki; a sister, Barbara Richardson of Mishawaka; a brother, John (Joyce) Ostrowski of Cassopolis, MI and a sister-in-law, Ellen Ostrowski. Frances worked as a Transcriptionist for Elkhart General Hospital. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 8 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be on Monday, March 9 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Bob Vale officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
