Jacob DELINSKI was born on 26 Jun 1822 in Lukowo, Poznan, Poland. , , This is the birth date and place given in his baptismal record. He was baptized on 30 Jun 1822 in Poznan, Poland. , The original record found in LDS film #2152566 reads, "The 30 June [1822] I Joannes Zolzedrawicz ], vicar, baptized the infant born the 26th of this same month, Jacobum, son of the laborer Bartholomei Delinski and Anna Tomkowianka, both Catholic, legally married. Godparents: the laborer Stanislaus Jarkoski of Pradski [?spelling] and Anna Hermanska of Lukowo."

The priests were required to make several complete duplicates of the annual records each year for the church and civil authorities. Sometimes there are errors in the duplicates!

He was godfather to Andreas Chelminiak on 6 Nov 1871 in Ludwikowo, Poznan, Poland. The baptismal record reads, "Born 6 November 1871 at Ludwikowo, baptized 6 November 1871, Andreas legitimate son of Joannes Chelminiak and Marianna Lewandoska, Catholic civil. Godparents: Jacobus Delinski and Josepha Mazur."

I don't know what relationship, if any, is between the Chelminiak family and the Delinski family.

He was godfather to Barbara Rozanska on 28 Sep 1873 in Ludwikowo, Poznan, Poland. The baptismal record reads, "Born 19 September 1873 at Ludwikowo, baptized 28 September, Barbara, legitimate daughter of Valentinus Rozanski and Magdalena Budnik, both Catholic inquil. Godparents: Jacob Delinski and Emilia Piechoska."

I don't know what, if any, relationship Jacob had with this family. Information on this marriage taken from Death Certificate of son Andrew, given by Andrew's granddaughter, Frances (F. Delinska) Kaminska.

Frances Padolna is his second wife. His son was born in the 1840's in Poland. His wedding to Frances took place in South Bend in 1900. Jacob DELINSKI and Francisca POKORNA were married on 19 Nov 1845 in Lekno, Poland, Prussia - Germany. , Their marriage record reads, "19 November [1844] Rev. Adalbertus Jankowski, at Lekno, joined in holy matrimony Jacobus Delinski, a young man, 23 years old, and Francisca Pokorna, virgin, 28 years old; both Catholic. Witnesses: Joannes Paszkiewicz and Joannes Pakorny."
