Ronald ā€œZā€ Zielinski, 62 years old, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence in South Bend. Z was born February 7, 1960 in South Bend to the late Raymond and Lorraine (Walker) Zielinski. Left to cherish the memory of Z are his siblings, June (Jim) Rhodes, Larry (Amanda) Zielinski, and LeeAnn (Mark) Fokey; his aunt Irene and uncle Don; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ron was a lifelong resident of South Bend. He was extremely mechanically inclined - he could fix everything; this, that and the other. He was also a very compassionate person. He was a friend to everyone he met and would help anyone out with anything. Z loved watching Notre Dame sports, listening to Ole Harv on the weekend with the Blues, and Harley Davidsons. He will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower. Friends may visit with the family starting at 4:00pm that Thursday at the funeral home. Donations in honor of Ronald Zielinski may be made to Grace Hospice, 5838 W, Brick Rd #101, South Bend, IN 46628 or to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
