Friends of Mrs. Michael A. "Peg" Korb, 339 Rose Ave., may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Zacherl Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. The Rev. George J. Gibbons will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Korb died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1984, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was married to Dr. Michael A. Korb on June 14, 1930, at St. Joseph's Church. Her age and date of birth were not released. She was a graduate of Oshkosh Normal School, Fond du Lac High School, and the University of Wisconsin summer session. She taught second grade at Washington School prior to her marriage. She was a charter member of the Saturday Lecture Club, the Fond du Lac Dental Auxiliary, Service League Inc. and first class of Gray Ladies of St. Agnes Hospital. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Church, St. Joseph Altar Society, the Irish History Club, the Charity Club, St. Agnes Hospital Auxiliary, St. Francis Home Auxiliary, the Catholic Women's Club and Fond du Lac Republican Women. She was a Red Cross volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital. Survivors include one son, John Michael Korb of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Ann Catherine Korb of South Bend; and one grandson, Michael A. Korb II. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
