SOUTH BEND - Charlene Ann Brambert Pirages, 59, of South Bend, IN, formerly of Rockford, IL, died Friday morning, August 9, 2013 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Charlene was formerly employed as a LPN working for The Surgeon group of Drs. Beierle, Hodge and Mihelich in the Rockford area. She was born February 16, 1954 in South Bend to Robert and Virginia (Ryback) Brambert. Survivors include one daughter, Julie Pirages (Curt) Kidder of Rockford; one son, David Pirages of Clearwater, FL; two granddaughters, Karli Ann Kidder and Alayna Charlene Kidder; two brothers, Robert (Tammy) Brambert Jr. of Pheonix, AZ and David (Annette) Brambert of Bloomingdale, IL; and her father, Robert Brambert of Granger; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and her former husband, Steve Pirages. Her mother, Virginia (Ryback) Brambert preceded her in death February 29, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13th from 6-8 p.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, and 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Charlene graduated from Boylan Central Catholic High School, Rockford in 1972. Memorials in her memory may be made to the church.
