Employed as custodian at SBd Library for 14 years; retiring Jul 1977. Services at St Hedwig Catholic Church; burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 24 Nov 1934 he married Josephine Mirocha who survivies with 2 daughters Mrs Carolyn Kovacs of So Bend and Mrs Sandra Pontius of Mishawaka; 3 sons: Thomas C, Frederick L and Melvin J all of So Bend; 9 grandchildren; a sister Mrs Henrietta Ozdych of South Bend & 2 brtohers, Edward and Joseph both of South Bend.
