Anthony J. Gramza, 64, of 910 Harrison, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness. He formerly was a printer for the Ave Maria Press, and had worked out of his home for many years. He was born on June 13, 1915, in South Bend, and lived here all his life. On Feb. 18, 1939, in Mishawaka, he married Katherine Kuharic, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wheeler, Mrs. Judy Butler and Mrs. Rita Becker, all of South Bend, three sons, Edward of Dolton, Ill., Daniel of Evanston, Ill., and Timothy of South Bend; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Mann of South Bend, and Mrs. Marie Sweeney of Dawagiac, and a brother, Clement of South Bend. Funeral 10/12/1979 at Holy Cross Catholic Church; Burial: Riverside Cemetery.
