SOUTH BEND - Mary J. Krol 76, of 17636 Woodthrush Lane, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in her home.
Mrs. Krol was born May 1, 1915, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 2, 1937, In South Bend, as Mary J. Linetty, she married Aloysius F. Krol. He died Nov. 24, 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Ruetz of South Bend; three grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Linetty of South Bend.
A son, Donald, died in 1983. She was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
