Julia Smith, 81, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006, in her residence. Julia was born on August 3, 1925, in South Bend, IN, to Michael and Elizabeth (Lakatoes) Hadary. Julia retired from Raco. As Julia Hadary, she married Elmer Smith on February 8, 1942, in South Bend. Elmer preceded her in death on September 16, 1994. Julia is survived by her eight children, Elmer Â?Bud" (Sandy) Smith of South Bend, Harry Smith of Elkhart, IN, Shirley Fairess (Bill Santana)
