South Bend News-Times, Tues., July 26, 1921:
Mrs. A. J. Korpal, 325 S. Walnut St., died at her home Monday morning following an illness of one year. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Stanislaus and Roman, and by two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Wargen and Mrs. Mary Korpal. She was born in Poland Sept. 21, 1876 and was 45 years old. "Funeral services will be held Thurday morning at St. Hedwige's church, Rev. Anthony Zubowicz officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery."
