Joseph K. Sobecki, age 40, of 529 South Bendix drive, died this morning at 6:55 o’clock in Epworth hospital after a 10 days’ illness of pneumonia. He was born in this city Sept. 3, 1888, and had lived here all his life. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Apolonia Sobecki, his wife, Anna; two children, Irvin of South Bend, and Eleanor, of Chicago; one brother, Roy Sobecki, and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Mazgajzyk, Mrs. Harriet Starczewska, and Mrs. Josephine Forycka, all of this city.. The body may be viewed in the residence. Funeral services will be held in St. Adalbert’s Roman Catholic church at 9 o’clock Saturday morning. The Rev. John Csadnik, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1929.
