SOUTH BEND - Thomas A. Lubelski, 59, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in his home.Tom was born October 6, 1957 in South Bend, to Leonard and Betty (Zmudzinski) Lubelski. His father preceded him in death. Survivors of Tom include his mother, Betty Ann Lubelski; brothers, Leonard (Betterae) Lubelski Jr., David Lubelski, Jeffery Lubelski, John Lubelski, Kerry (ex-Jennifer) Lubelski and Kevin (Pam) Lubelski; sisters, Sharon (John) Hartman and Janet (Robert) Hoffer; and 18 nieces & nephews. Tom was a graduate of Marian High School. He was employed at Holiday Rambler-Monaco Coach for 26 years, and then cooked for the St. Joseph County Jail the past 8 years. Tom was a member of the Calvert Rod & Gun Club and the “SOL” Sons of the American Legion Post 284. He was an avid fisherman and White Sox fan. Tom enjoyed canning vegetables, traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family. Visitation for Tom will be 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday, June 26, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Funeral Service to begin at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
