Stephen Danielowicz Sr. (September 02, 1897 - May 12, 1980).
Stephen Danielowicz Sr., 82, of 2944 N. Jamestown Court, Mishawaka, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital after being ill three weeks. He was an assembler at the Studebaker Corp. for 30 years. Born on Sept. 2, 1897, in Warsaw, Poland, he lived in South Bend for 30 years. On Jan. 23, 1917, in South Bend, he married Cecilia Mikula. She died on Feb. 18, 1967. He is survived by seven daughters, Mrs Harriett Ruszkowski, Mrs. Lucille Yanez, Mrs. Phyllis Forsberg, and Mrs. Marianne Seach, all of South Bend, Mrs. Virginia Harsanyi of Mishawaka, Mrs. Clara Pentkowski of Buchanan, and Mrs. Delores Foss of Champion Minn; a son, Stephen Jr. of South Bend; 32 grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. Stephen Sedlock, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He was a member of the West Side Democratic and Civic Club, , the UAW Local, and was a PortageTownship Constable.
