DOWAGIAC - Kathleen's life began on March 11, 1925 in rural Cassopolis, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Fritz) Kidman. She was united in marriage to Ted Krizinski on October 23, 1943 at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church in Dowagiac. Kathleen worked in several area factories including Goerlich Manufacturing, Heddon and Sons, Dowagiac Manufacturing and Consolidated Die Cast. She was a faithful member of Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church. Ted and Kathleen enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Canada and she was a fantastic baker. Kathleen is warmly remembered for her cream and pecan pies with incredible crusts and her pineapple squares. Her loving family includes her children, Joni (Richard) Campbell, Kathy (Ron) New, and Tony Krizinski, all of Dowagiac; grandchildren, Scott (Rebecca) Campbell, Karen Berberoglu, Kathy (Rusty) Morse, Adam New, Sara (Cole) Burrus, Eric, Brian (Ellie), and Heather Krizinski and Toni Thomas; great grandchildren, Emilie and Chloe Campbell, Haley and Hannah Berberoglu, Brayden Morse, Aiden Burrus, Landon New, Brinley, Simeon, Taylor and Damien Krizinski; and sisters, Marvel DeGraff and Yvonne Bourney. Kathleen passed away at her home on Friday, June 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted on January 9, 2012; sons Bobby Krizinski in 1998 and Lynn Krizinski in 1949; brothers George and Terrence Kidman; and sisters Maxine Brosnan and Annette Deming. Her family will gather with friends on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 9:30 - 10 at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church where her memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Kevin Covert. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church.
