John T. Klosinski, 72, of 525 S. Warren St., died at 7:30pm Saturday in St Joseph Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired Studebaker employee. He was born April 5, 1894, in South Bend. On May 28, 1917, in South Bend, he married Mary Sasiadek, who survives, along with three sons, Emil of Anaheim CA, Florian and Leonard, both of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Warner of Beloit WI and Mrs. Jean Bucholtz of South Bend; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Juszczak and Mrs. Anna Basker, both of South Bend. Friends may call after 7pm today at the St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9am Wednesday in St Adalberts Church, Rev. John Moskal, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. He was a member of the West Side Democratic Club; and a former professional football player with the Muessel Brewers and South Bend Athletics. The rosary will be recited at 89pm Tuesday by Father Moskal in the funeral home.
