Martha Williams Chamber, 72, of Paragould, died Monday, January 30, 2006, at her residence. Born at Hooker, in Greene County, Arkansas, June 9, 1933, Mrs. Chambers was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Edward Andrew Chambers of Buchanan, Michigan; two daughters, Debra Chambers of South Bend, Indiana, and Regeina Ruth Goodrich of Osceola, Indiana. She is also survived by one brother, Donald Williams of Rector; four sisters, Ellen Edwards and Viola Stephens, of Paragould, Flora Merchant of Tomah, Wisconsin, Delorice Stewart of De Bary, Florida; one grandson, Michael Edward Goodrich of Osceola, Indiana; nine nieces and nephews; and by six great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, February 3rd, 10:00 a.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m, at Mitchell Funeral Home. James Hodges, Charles “Buddy” Smith, Paul Smith, Rickey Hendrix, Eugene Stephens and Harold Dowler will serve as pallbearers.
