WALKERTON - Eugene A. “Speed” Bella, 63, passed away at 1:15am Thursday, September 22, 2016 in South Bend of natural causes. Eugene was born on February 7, 1953 in South Bend to Albert and Suzanne (Pietrzak) Bella. On November 19, 1978 in South Bend he married the former Judy Mark who survives along with a brother Brian Bella of South Bend, a sister Susan (David) Inwood of Mishawaka, nephew Martin Inwood, niece Alexandra Inwood and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Leslie Bella. He was a member of the Northern Indiana Philatelic Society and was a vendor at the Plymouth Farmers Market. He held all species of animals in high regard, especially his beloved cats. Friends may gather from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Sunday, October 9, 2016 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue to celebrate his life.
