Lorraine A. Druzbik, 93, of New Carlisle, IN passed away at 7:10 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor in New Carlisle, IN. Lorraine was born on July 8, 1929 in Buffalo, NY, and has lived in New Carlisle since 2010. She previously lived in Chesterton, IN and Brooksville, FL. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Druzbik; a son, Gregory Dzierba; and a grandson, Kyle Cuma-Dzierba. On August 5, 1967, as Lorraine Pettibone, she married Edward F. Druzbik. He passed away on March 2, 2017. Lorraine is survived by a son, Daniel (Susan) Dzierba of Chesterton, IN; daughter, Joann Stainko of New Carlisle, IN; four grandchildren, Scott Dzierba; Chad (Genelle) Dzierba; Michael Dzierba; and George (Alison) Stainko, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah Dzierba; Chad Dzierba, Jr.; Cole Stainko; and Ari Stainko. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. EST Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. EST. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. EST Friday, November 18, 2022 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee, IN. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Michigan City, IN. Lorraine was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, Terre Coupee, IN. She was an avid bowler and golfer, where she played in several leagues and tournaments. Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
