Betty A. Sheneman, 83, of 67550 Tamarack Road, North Liberty, Ind., passed away at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2002 in St. Joseph Medical Center in South Bend after a short illness. She was a retired fabricator for 33 years at Wells Aluminum Corporation in North Liberty. She was born in South Bend, March 25, 1919 and was a lifetime area resident. She was married to George L. Sheneman on November 29, 1969 in North Liberty, he survives along with two daughters, Patricia Kammerer of Walkerton and Gail Thompson of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, David Wojth of Detroit, Mich., and George Rosinski of North Liberty; a sister, Gladys Hite of Plymouth; and three brothers, Carl Hertel and Julius DeLanghe, both of South Bend and Virgil DeLanghe of Lakeville; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home in North Liberty and officiated by Andy Kaser, a asst. pastor of the North Liberty Church of Christ. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
