[N3875] James E. "Jim" Bratina Sr. 95, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 22, 2011. He was born on May 16, 1916 in Gary, Indiana to Frank J. and Dorothy (Blanzina) Bratina.

Jim was a Navy veteran and served in WWII. He retired from the South Bend, IN Post Office after 37 years of employment. Jim is survived by his wife, Juanita Bratina; sons, James E. (Carol) Bratina, and Charles W. (Jaye) Bratina; five grandchildren, Thomas (Leigh), Anthony (Famida), Jason (Angela), Jordan Bratina, and Julie (Steve) Sidhom; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Saia. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, November 25 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Jim will be laid to rest at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 26 in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Online condolences may be shared with the family at http://www.ghherrmann.com.
